Scott Troy joined The Giles Financial Group in November of 2009 as Director of Employee Benefits. He specializes in advising businesses on employee benefit strategies that can reduce cost for employers while providing a comprehensive benefits package.

Scott is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a Bachelor or Arts in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Sport Administration. Prior to entering the insurance business, Scott was a 4^th grade school teacher in the Wilson School District. Before joining Giles he was employed locally as a Benefits Specialist. He holds designations as an Advanced Chartered Benefit consultant and a Certified Professional Insurance Agent.

While pursuing his degree in school, Scott was a Division 1 All-American and 5-time ACC Champion swimmer. Today, Scott is a Wilson High School Athletic Hall of Fame and Berks County Aquatic Hall of Fame member, a board member of the Mifflin Area Youth Baseball Association, a PA Water Polo Official and a Greater Reading Young Professionals member. He resides in Mohnton with his wife and three children.
