The Principals

Dave Giles began his financial career in 1972.  He is a founding member of the Berks County Estate Planning Council.  He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1985 and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1986.  He is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the International Forum, and the Million Dollar Round Table's Top of the Table.  Dave is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative of NFP Securities, Inc.

Tim Ebbert joined The Giles Financial Group in 1999.  He holds both the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.  Tim is also a member of the Berks County Estate Planning Council and the Million Dollar Round Table.  He has served the Berks community as a financial services professional for over 20 years.  Tim is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative of NFP Securities, Inc.

Patrick Velekei is a Certified Financial PlannerTM(CFP®) and a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Information Management and Analysis. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and has been working as a financial professional since 1999.  Patrick is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative of NFP Securities, Inc.

 Scott Troy joined The Giles Financial Group in November of 2009 as Director of Employee Benefits.  He specializes in advising businesses on employee benefit strategies that can reduce cost for employers while providing a comprehensive benefits package. Scott holds designations as an Advanced Chartered Benefit consultant and a Certified Professional Insurance Agent.
